What do Nurofen Suppositories do?
Nurofen for children 60mg Suppositories are specifically formulated for babies from 3 months to 2 years.
They are designed to enable the fast adaption of ibuprofen from the suppository to quickly lower and relieve pain.
Fast, effective and long lasting relief:

- Cold & flu symptoms
- Minor aches
- Minor sprains
Dosage: Wait at least 6 hours between doses

3 months to 9 months | 1 suppository | 3 times in 24 hours |
9 months to 2 years | 1 suppository | 4 times in 24 hours |
Do not give to children weighing less than 6kg.
Do not use in those under 3 months of age without medical advice.
For short term use only.
Directions: For rectal use only.
- For rectal use only – not to be taken by mouth.
- Remove a suppository from the wrapper and insert into your child’s back passage (rectum).
Read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.

Important Information
- Contains ibuprofen 60mg per suppository and hard fat,
- If your child’s symptoms persist for more than 3 days, if pain or fever worsens or if new symptoms occur, consult your doctor or pharmacist straight away.
Do not give to children who:
- Have or have had stomach ulcers or other serious stomach disorders.
- Suffer a worsening of asthma, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing or hives as a result of taking aspirin or other similar medicines.
- Are allergic to aspirin or to any of the ingredients in the suppositories.
Consult your doctor before use if:
- Suffers from asthma
- Is allergic to aspirin
- Is receiving any other pain relievers
- Is receiving any other regular treatment
All of the above warnings also apply to adults or older children considering taking this product should also be aware of these factors.
Pregnant women and elderly should obtain medical advice before use.
